Ficstar’s powerful web search and data mining technology helps it’s users collect data from the deep Web - extracting and running computations against some of the hardest sought content anywhere on the internet. But for all the technology Ficstar had, they were missing some critical pieces - user experience and internal branding.
Multiple collaborative client discovery sessions were held as part of a brand audit to better understand Ficstar’s service offering and roadmap before creating a new visual design system consisting of the client portal logo, language, colours, and personality. In parallel, the team began immediate work on user web template s and the integration with the data engine.
Ficstar was able to not only deliver a new, polished, professional user experience to it’s clients but was set up to transition from a service based company to become an enterprise product.
